I recently discovered McVitie’s Ginger Nuts Biscuits in the international food section of the grocery store. McVitie’s Ginger Nuts are made in the United Kingdom. They contain no artificial colors or flavors. These cookies are very crunchy which make them excellent for pairing with hot tea. I like them better than regular ginger snaps because they have a unique flavor. McVitie’s Ginger Nuts are a cross between ginger snaps and lemon cookies, which make them refreshing and invigorating at the same time. The only thing better than the flavor is their HILARIOUS name. I wonder if anyone in the United Kingdom understands why “GINGER NUTS” are so funny! This would be a great gift for your favorite ginger. You can buy these at some grocery stores for around $3.00 per package. Or you can get them online.

Ginger Root has been used for thousands of years as both a spice and a dietary supplement. I have found that it helps me by significantly reducing symptoms of nausea and indigestion. You can buy a bottle of Spring Valley Ginger Root 550mg Capsules at some retail and drug stores for about $3.50 per 100 capsules. I buy mine at Walmart for $3.33 per bottle. However, make sure that you talk to your doctor before taking any dietary supplements, including Ginger Root. Ginger Root may be contraindicated for certain medical conditions, or with the use of certain medications.

Celestial Seasonings Sweet Coconut Thai Chai Tea is a great beverage for a cool fall evening. It smells wonderful and has a very distinct flavor. It is full of spices such as cinnamon, chicory, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. The coconut flavor gives it a little bit of sweetness. I recommend adding skim milk and honey. Sweet Coconut Thai Chai Tea is decaffeinated, 100% natural, and has zero calories. You can find it at most grocery and retail stores for about $2.00 per box of 20 tea bags.
